Three days ago my husband and I decided it was time to take a huge leap of faith and start trying for a baby. Talk about exciting, right?! We have been married for 8 months and feel like we should just start.
Now, something you should know about us. We are still college students, I am a junior and he is sophomore. I’m studying to be an Elementary school teacher and he is studying to be a mechanical engineer (money, money, money, MON-NEY). So, this poses a little hiccup on the road to parenthood. But! We are deeply rooted in our faith in our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and desire to keep His commandments (to the best of our ability) “to multiply and replenish the Earth.” We are hoping that by doing as They have asked that we will be blessed with help from heaven and be given strength to endure the trials that are parenthood.
The next thing you should know is that I have PCOS (which is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). As most you may or may not know this makes it difficult to conceive because women with this syndrome don’t ovulate regularly, have a menstrual period regularly, and have imbalanced hormones. This being another (big) bump or road block in the road to motherhood.
All that being said, I want to document our special journey and share it with all of you! In hopes that this blog will give hope to those in a similar situation with trying to conceive, build faith for those that are struggling, or just for pure entertainment purposes.
So, I hope all of you will stick with me and we can build up and support one another! Also, please, please, please, comment, ask questions, start discussions, or leave suggestions!
Kisses, ya filthy animals ♥
P.S. I don’t really think you are filthy animals, it is just my favorite movie quote of all time!
